Dear Illinois Commerce Commission:
Please reject Peoples Gas' record $402 million rate-hike request–the largest gas request in Illinois history. Customers are already paying historically high natural gas bills–thanks to aggressive spending by Peoples Gas coupled with skyrocketing supply prices. Chicago residents are in a heating-affordability crisis–and this rate hike will only increase their suffering. Peoples Gas has been making record profits. They don't need this rate hike. Please...
- Stand up for customers and tell Peoples Gas NO.
- Work to develop strong policy to help Illinois consumers transition to cleaner and more affordable energy sources. There are better ways to heat our homes--and Illinois has all the tools it needs to give consumers better access to these alternatives.
