ComEd is asking for a four-year, $1.5 billion rate hike, with an excessive profit rate for shareholders.

Dear Illinois Commerce Commission:
As an Illinois consumer concerned about my electric bills, I urge you to reject ComEd's record, four-year, $1.5 billion rate-hike request.
The increase, which includes an excessive profit rate for shareholders of 10.5 percent and up, comes at the same time that major Chicago-area gas utilities, Nicor Gas and Peoples Gas, are asking for record increases of their own.
Making strategically smart, consumer-friendly grid improvements can help save customers money in the long-run, but that shouldn't mean ComEd gets an excessive profit rate for shareholders.
Thank you.
