Dear Illinois Commerce Commission (ICC Docket # 23-0067):
Please reject Ameren Illinois' $160.4 million rate-hike request. Customers are already paying high gas bills–thanks to aggressive spending by Ameren, coupled with skyrocketing supply prices--and this will make a bad situation worse. Ameren just received a $76 million gas hike in 2021, and its parent company made more than $900 million in just the first 9 months of 2022. They don't need this rate hike. Please...
- Stand up for customers and tell Ameren NO.
- Work to develop strong policy to help Illinois consumers transition to cleaner and more affordable energy sources. There are better ways to heat our homes--and Illinois has all the tools it needs to give consumers better access to these alternatives.
