Urge the Senate: Confirm Rosenworcel and Sohn to the FCC!
The White House has nominated Jessica Rosenworcel and Gigi Sohn to become the Federal Communications Commission's (FCC) Chairwoman and Commissioner, respectively.
If the Senate confirms both, the FCC can restore internet consumer protections called "net neutrality."
Big problem: The Senate's holiday recess is just one month away—if we don't confirm both nominees now, reforms will stall. In fact, anti-net neutrality commissioners could hold a 2-1 advantage at the FCC. (Read more background here.)
Net neutrality promotes fair pricing and stops Internet companies from unfairly blocking content. Previous FCC leadership killed net neutrality, but now we can bring it back: Urge the Senate to confirm these nominees without further delay.
