Say thanks for the CEJA refund
Historic clean energy legislation you helped pass last year is paying off for ComEd customers in the form of $1 billion in direct credits on electric bills beginning June 1.
The year-long credit, which state regulators say works out to roughly $19.71 a month for the average ComEd customer, is due to a provision that CUB and other consumer advocates worked to include in the Climate & Equitable Jobs Act (CEJA), landmark clean energy legislation that Gov. J.B. Pritzker signed into law last year.
The credit will be called the “Carbon-Free Energy Resource Adjustment” on bills. This credit goes to all ComEd customers. You don't have to apply for it or take any action—other than to say THANK YOU to Gov. Pritzker and legislators who championed the bill.
Tell Springfield: Thanks for the CEJA credit!
NOTE: After taking action, you may get a bounce-back email from your legislators stating that they no longer accept emails and asking you to use a form on their website instead. If this is the case, please follow the link in their email to take action. Thank you!
